Default Can you custom map the Xone 92 to traktor?

hey everyone, i just got the xone 92 mixer and i love it!!....i was at recently watching loco dice spin at a club i was attending and i noticed that he has his faders for on his mic channel mapped out to his efx channel on his tracktor, i could be wrong but it was pretty sure thats what it was. i am wondering how hard it would be to custom map a 92... i have no knowledge of costuming mapping equipment so I'm just on here to gather some info on it. thanks for the help

He must have been using some kind of effects loop, with the effected signal coming into the mic channel from Traktor. The Xone 92 isn't MIDI capable (as far as i know).

The XONE:92 is MIDI capable... to send a limited amount of controls. All of them are isted in the User Manual. It's a really few amount of knobs.. not that much

How to map? Look around here, there's plenty thread about that, and so on the blog.

Note the 2 knobs at the top. They're send levels. The 2 channels on the left that you assumed were mic channels are also stereo return channels.

I'd bet money he was adjusting the level of a return track, probably using a hardware effects unit of some kind. It's also possible to use Traktor's effect decks that way, and it's the only way to get post-fader effects out of Traktor.

But that's probably what he was doing, especially since nothing on either of the return tracks actually sends midi data.

If you'd said ritchie hawtin, I'd probably have believed you, but his xone:92 wasn't a xone:92, it was a ctrl:92 that he and his father hacked together.
