Noob Pic question

I put my new setup pics on photobucket and tried to copy the URL code so you wouldnt have to click on the picture, but its not working. Suggestions?

did you resize the pic ? and put it in the avatar section ?

the way i do it is,
i use a image hosting site to add my pic and resize it,
then save the pic to my HDD then upload it (the resized pic) from my HDD

i can post pics, but you have to click on them and that gets annoying. I want to post a pic in the thread thats just there. When i try to upload it from photobucket it just says "invalid file"
