just spotted a blog post about this new akai product. it's called the MPC fly. It a hard case for your ipad and a bunch of modern silver MPC magicness, opening up like a book. Pad on one side, MPC on the other.

i instantly liked it but then came across the MPC studio. Another newly announced Akai mpc product. The studio is another silver MPC. it's well thin (looks about as thick as a MBP/maybe a little slimmer)

whats your opinions? i'd like to have a go before i put down the cash.

using the ipad could get annoying i guess, it'll be fat ito use the mpc in other apps on top of the designed initial use.

I think the studio would be more robust but cost more
