Looking to get a different mixer. Using a PMC 5 Pro 2 right now. I've been looking at the Rane 56. Looks like I can get a used one for around $400/$450. Anyone have experience with these, or advice on a comparable mixer?

May have posted this in wrong forum.

I just want a sturdy, well built scratch mixer with high quality, replaceable faders. Curve control on the crossfader a must, and would really like it on the line faders as well. I also want something with the the "fader area" clear of anything but the faders. For instance, my Vestax has the monitor faders just to the right of the channel 2 fader and I catch my sleeve on them when scratching sometimes. I also want a 3 band eq, and options for the master output i.e. XLR, 1/4", RCA.

ttm 56 seems like it will do it, don't forget about the djm909, or the vestax pmc 05 pro 4

Looks like the djm's and pro-4's are fetching between $900-$1000 while the Rane 56 is going for $500-$600. Granted those prices are for used gear, but my budget is around $500.

With the new Rane models becoming available next month, I may just wait and see what the price trends do then. I hate waiting. I am drooling for a new mixer.
