i watched videos on it and stuff but i still do not understand the point of having one if you have an S4? Because you already have an FX chain on the S4, why would you need another set? Just a lil confused :/ anyone wanna explain?

The buttons give you instant access to super expressive combinations of effects. So rather than having to choose all you fx, set them to the right values, and then try and move four knobs at once you simply use different combinations of buttons to instantly access different combinations of FX and rates
