Default Problem with juggle feature with firmware 1.3, tks 1.4

    Hi all,

This is my first post, so bare with me..... I have an annoying problem, not dire like when i first tried to upgrade my firmware with usb to serial.... massive nightmare...... My problem is with the jog wheels and the juggle feature.

I cant seem to get the track to cue when I touch the jog wheel with juggle performance mode engaged and/or with the scratch/juggle button pushed down.

I have done the tests and i have control over the pitch with both scratch buttons pushed down and it takes two hits to engage the snap feature. Also performance modes - deck c and effect work great.... so i guess i have firmware 1.3.

    1.4 tsi file.

just no juggle feature, though when the performance mode is engaged i get cues 1-4 on the buttons below the jog wheel. just no 5th cue.......

Dont know if anyone else has had this problem and has a solution would be really happy to hear it.

Other than this everything else works fine and im super stoked with my vci-100 and the DJTT mods.

    Take it easy.

I can't remember which specific tsi version it was but the 5th cue on the jog wheel was removed. I'm sure someone with a hell of a lot more knowledge will chime in but that is what I remember.

    Default Seconded :)

First of all I'd like to commend everyone at DJ Tech Tools on the *tremendous* work and effort thats gone into making traktor/controllers awesome.

That being said, I'd like to sympathize with arthomas101 as I'm experiencing the same issue. The Vestax VCI-100 works completely fine except for hotcue-juggle mode (definitely a coveted feature!) --

using TSI file 1.4 downloaded from the Sticky in the forums.
using Traktor Pro 1.1.1 fully patched/upgraded
using a VCI-100 with firmware upgrade from DJTechTools
    w/ firmware upgrade: VCI-100SE_1.3_Firmware.mot

the problem seems to be that the JuggleMode button is bound to Modifier #3 as a "HOLD" type button, which means I must hold the Juggle button down in order to use the hotcues, and when I let go the mode ends and the blue LEDs switch off.

Normally I'd simply change Interaction Mode from "HOLD" to "TOGGLE", but in this case for some reason Traktor does not allow/see that the JuggleMode button can BE of a type TOGGLE.

It offers only Hold, Direct, Previous, Next, and Output (if I recall correctly)

I'd love it if there were some simple solution to get this button functioning, or even if someone could point me in the right direction. I've tried manually editing the TSI files, copying different settings from buttons which DO function as toggles, and so on, with no luck.

Respect again for all the awesome DJ resources here, and I'm really looking forward to any input anyone has.

    Thanks!
    -J.

The little black knob on the very top right of the unit is used to toggle between juggle mode on and juggle mode off.

I have autofast forwarded the video so it skips strait to the juggle section showing you how to use it.

    Default So. Awesome...

    That was incredible man...

I'd been struggling with that forEVER, and your simple post really saved me tons of hours of frustration and confusion.

Thank you so much, when I make some awesome mixes, I'll definitely remember this...
