Default How to record from Denon DN-X1700

I am trying to figure this thing out. How do I set this up to record the master output of the mixer through the USB connection?

I want the included FX onboard to be heard in my mix.

Yea, the manual does not specify how to setup Traktor.

I will continue to play until someone chimes in.

do you want Traktor's recording function to record the x1700s output from the usb or are you wanting to record from your mixer to something like Audacity?

I thought I replied to this this morning???? Anyway, this is for the 1600, but it should be the same.

In Mix recorder in preferences set the external input source as input FX Send.

In input routing set input FX send to Channel 7/8

On the Mixer in the USB audio setup I have Rec set to 7/8. I also have the DNX as the default for system sound, not sure if this has any affect on this setup and getting it to work.
