S4 soundcheck at the gig Issues?

Unfortunately I had a major #fail at the gig.
s4 sound check played but the queued was playing through the speakers. Really embarassed. Faders didnt work. only the cue the worked.
Was playing the s4 like a ipod.
Luckily my friend was the back up and used the numark controller at the bar as a back up.
Everything worked fined at home and at other gigs.
Anyone had sound check issues?

Did u restart your laptop. What was the s4 doing exactly you didnt describe the problem

The mixer I connected to was a powered.
One song would play with the Cue on and tried to cue up the next song but only played with the cue.
Idk how it was. Tried to config and reconfig. But the owner of the bar was pissed.
So went to the back up plan.
faders were on low and music was still playing.
How should the sound config on traktor is to be set up?
morale for a hobby dj for me is not looking good.

Sorry can't do that bc don't wanna mess up the dude playing now. Its sounds like to me both software and Hardware configs issue. I had this happen on my PC laptop and now on Mac . Sorry man.

Did you check that the out put routing in preferences was correct? As in master 1&2 set to master and monitor set to monitor. Sounds like they might be switched.
