If I'd hook up my 13 inch MBP to a 23 inch monitor or a medium sized TV would the resulution etc stay the same ?
Because when I hook it up now to my rather large TV the edges of the screen (dock and upper bar for example) are not visible.

And does using a set up like stated above result in more work space in ableton ? Because I can't really fit that much audio and midi tracks on my screen.
