Default Something new from Pioneer tomorrow? - Pioneer RMX-1000

There's lots of chat on Twitter today about a big announcement from Pioneer tomorrow.
At first I thought it must be the CDJ2000 Nexus that everyone has been speculating about recently but i'm starting to think it might be a new FX unit.

Sasha tweeted earlier that he'd got to see a new 'thing' today from Pioneer which he said was a game changer. I'm intrigued to see what they've come up with...

I'm sure it's the 2K Nexus, I'm very curious to see what they come up with and I really hope it is as big as they make it out to be and not just a 2K MK1 with a few tiny updates.

I doubt it's an FX unit, there is not a big enough market really and external DJ FX units aren't game changers.

And a new CDJ is? I mean not sure how much they can change to a CDJ to make it a game changer.... But who knows.

James Zabiela has been doing a few photoshoots for Pioneer recently and he's their FX guru which made me think it's a new FX unit.
I'd prefer it to be a 2k Nexus though as I'm pretty covered for fx with the DB4...

One unit, no computer needed, has side by side waveforms...if its a "gamechanger". Something that acts like a computer but doesn't use a computer because obviously pioneer can't give in to dj's using laptops.

Definitely won't be a single unit nor would anyone want it to be that's for sure.

I'm thinking (hoping) CDJ with zoomed waveforms.

I suppose it's not possible that the term "game-changer" is just an overused marketing gimmick.

Steroids. Now that was a game changer.
Level 2. Now that was some next level stuff.

haha very true. Although the idea of a link feature that has waveforms on top of each other would be insane. zoomed wave forms, and waves showing up on both screens overlaying each other would be so crazy though. They will never have an all in unit that in not hooked up to a controller. People what their modular products, and it would kill their business model.
