Default Need help mastering this track.. what does it need?

Hey guys.. put a lot of time and effort into this one and I don't think I have the skills to make it sounds any better in the mix (production wise, sure).

I'm thinking it lacks color maybe.. thanks for any help .

It sounds like a decent mix to my ears. Maybe a little brittle up top and digital sounding but
sounds wells produced to me. I am only listening on a small system though so cannot pass further details.

On the right track for sure. I enjoyed listening to it thanks for the share.

And as a tip make sure any mastering you choose if any, shows pictures of the high end equipment they are using "in situ" to make decisions on. There are a lot of "mastering engineers" who don't know their arse from their elbow.

In general it sounds a bit distorted to me, but it's hard to say if that was intentional or just Soundcloud's crappy streaming. I'd agree with Safe and Sound that the upper mids and highs are a little too forward and bright in the mix for a bass heavy track. You could probably drop the high hats and snare 2-3dB to help that out some.

If you're not going to go to someone else to master it, this is generally how I recommend people approach mastering their own music:
