Some lovely house tunes for all to check out (All original music)

Hey guys, just wanted to share some tunes that I think you guys will dig, or so I hope.



Here's the first one. Just wanted to make a fun, almost banging tune with some nice bass and retro synths that are catchy and just scream. Let me know if I accomplished that or not = p



The second one is more of a summery vibe with the keys and guitar playing nicely with each other and just getting groovey.

These are just the first rough drafts as far as arrangement and mixdown's are concerned. Just picked up some new monitors last week and am in the process of learning them. Planning on going back and touching these up soon enough on the new monitors, but for now you should be able to get a feel for them.

I like the second one, but where my comment is that felt kind of out of place. Not bad, just felt strange for the first few bars.

I think they're both very good
The first has a kinda early Chemical Brothers vibe to it - like a lot

I can see what Chris means with the second one - the beat and the intro - you don't really expect the soulful house chords - sounds like its gonna be a tech-house banger with sharp stabs and stuff and the mellow vibe is a suprise, but it does work

That's exactly what I'm trying to say. It's not bad, just different and in this day and age of loopmaster sample packs and everybody sounding the same that's a good thing.
