Hi, basically I've finally gotten to the mastering stage of a track, and i've got it mixed and everything, though I cannot for the life of me understand mastering. I understand that i need to filter the super lows and super highs, maybe add a little compression and then bring the volume up a few dB. However i cant seem to get my head round what else to do with it, even if there is more to do with it?

This is my track, completely unmastered, and if anyone could give me a few more pointers? I keep trawling through google results trying to find more information but its always on professional mastering (including using analogue equipment) or telling me stuff I already know about simple premastering.

I tried searching but honestly, I didnt really understand a lot of it. Would anyone mind helping me?
