    Thats absolutely brilliant. How have you gone about doing that? Id love to do that with my mk5's but id be far too afraid of hurting them.

    Did a functionality test and all works well. Ended up using the bottom of the original unit to protect the board and to make it easier to mount. Now I just need to seal the hole in the center, rig up a back plate, add a piece of metal to the back, alter the hinge bracket, replace the RCAs, prime the exposed aluminum, and send it off to paint. Then do it all over again to the other deck. LOL!

    Awesome idea. I was thinking about stuff like that since some weeks. But I was afraid to hurt mit weels of steel.
