Hi, i am very new to this. O was looking at the mixtrack or the mixtrack pro and i wanted to know do i really need a sound card for just playing around?

You won't be able to monitor the next track without one. You could start without one but you will face a brick wall pretty fast. Audio 2 DJ is dirty cheap and comes with a Traktor Pro license.
