    Default New CHROMA CAPS colors?

    Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has heard any news or would like a bigger collection of colors for the CHROMA CAPS? I love the current collection they have, don't get me wrong...Its just that Red and Turquoise are my favorite colors and would look dope on my S4 and coming f1s.

Is there a way to mod these to paint over the current CHROMA CAPS?

would be cool to hear from others as well the type of colors scheme they would like to see...

I haven't tried this, maybe if someone has an extra they can try, but I've done this with skateboard wheels.
RITT dye + white caps = any colour the dye comes in. Boil water, put in the dye, put in the caps, stir, taste, and dry.

    sweet! cant wait!

just ordered some white ones to play around with this mod. I got some royal blue and kelly green RIT dye to make turquoise as I have a project with some crapped out headphones I wanna do...so I will try out this dyeing.

I just hope boiling the caps won't alter the caps though. I'll post pics when I get em!

This is the color I'm gonna try.

the 2 layers of plastic/rubber should be bonded well enough together that boiling won't be a problem. I'm excited to see if this works as well as with skate wheels.

I used to do the RITT dye thing with clear plastic paintball loaders. With the knobs being plastic, boiling will probably warp or melt the plastic. Just use hot water. The longer they stay in the deeper the color. To keep the plastic from warping I would dip the item in the dye for a bit, then pull it out to cool and repeat the process untill the desired color was reached. Then rinse in cold water.

Not sure how well the rubbery coating on the knobs will hold the color though. You may end up with colored fingers after mixing with them lol. Let us know how it works out.

It would be cool to have custom colored knobs.
