Default Denon MC6000 + Midifighter Classic?

Hi everyone, I own a denon Mc6000 for almost 10 months now and I am very glad with this controller. I create my own mappings now and know how to beatmatch exactly in time. However I use a Dell computer with i5 processor. I have many troubles with the effects unit or samples when I use the computers sound card. You can hear some strange noises when I change the effects. There are also some problems with the (hot)cues when i use sync. The track always starts before or after the cue point, never on the cue point.

I will buy a new computer (macbook pro) soon after I finish my final exams. Normally, there will be no more serious bugs with a Mac. Does anyone have already some experience with it?

When the bug-problems are fixed, I was thinking to upgrade my setup with buying a Midi fighter Classic. Do you think it's worth to get a classic with the Mc6000?

    Greetings from Belgium

why are you using the computers build in soundcard? you can achieve better results with the mc6ks own. if you hear strange noises and/or audio dropouts increase the latency until they're gone.

the problem with the cues sounds to me like the quantizes feature is on. disengage it (the smal Q in the upper section) and try again.

the MF classic is a nice little effect controller. you wont regret buying it

Thanks for the quantize feature advice , I will check this.

But I use the MC6000 soundcard during a party. When I use is, I will always hear the effects making strange noises when I change them. I think the computers soundcard is always used for the effects so I turn them off when I need to change them. When I use samples, there are always, creaking noises. So I will just use the effects without hearing the noises, who makes the soundquality very bad.

I read there are other guys who have the same problem as me with the effects. With a macbook, I noticed none of the crappy noises.

    Greetings

I bet if you optimized your PC for audio work, you won't have those problems.

I would like to optimize the PC, but it's not mine laptop I use. It's from my father and he doesn't like it that I change some things on his laptop. After the exams I will buy a Mac and maybe a midifighter. During the vacation I will make some good traktor mappings and I will figure out how ableton works.
