Akai APC40 vs. Technics 1200 M3D dimensions

After selling a turntable, I wondered whether an APC40 should fit in a turntable flight case. Signs point to yes:

Akai APC40 as measured by dom:
"42cm wide, 33.5cm deep, height is around 6.5cm"

Technics 1200 M3D as quoted in its manual:
45.3cm wide, 35.3cm deep, 16.2cm height
