Default The ParisCreative Music Challenge Thread

So I used to run these challenges on Ars Technica (my main forum of choice) some years ago and I decided to resurrect it and bring it to over here for some fun. This first batch is pretty simple, all popular songs of their time, and pretty iconic sounds.

Rules, please put your answer in light font tags. No peeking and please no cheating on the interwebs. When someone has guess all the tracks I will name the winner.

Quiz 1 - Rock: 10 songs. No more than 2 bars are played.

Quiz 2 - Hip Hop Crates: 6 songs. Name the Original and at least one song that sampled it. Bonus points for knowing more than one sample.

    Have fun!

    Ed Paris (wow another Paris)

    Rock: 0/0
Hip-Hop: 2/6 but you get only 1 point since you didn't cite the original source (which these samples were lifted from).
