Default DJing only with internal soundcards?

Hi, first of all I'm no professional DJ. I just like to play music at my house or with friends. And before I spend $50 on a sound card I want to experiment something different and I think it is possible.

Okay so I don't have a sound card, I have a PC and currently using Traktor 2 with Asio4all v2.

Now what I'm trying to do is being able to play music on Deck A from my rear PC audio jack to a speaker while listening to other decks with my headphones on the front audio jack. Yes I've heard this is possible, but I'm just going to figure it out myself.

Anyone know anything about this? It's simply has the same idea of external soundcards but only using internal soundcard.

    Edit:

    - So far I managed to set the Realtek manager to enable front and back audio jack, so I can hear same audio at the same time.
    - Now, what I'm trying to do is be able to switch decks I want to listen to on my earphone.

...you could get a decent audio interface with two separate outputs for $100 or so...

not sure how to route it on a pc with the two jacks, but i believe most of the routing will definitely be done in asio and then set the soundcard in traktor to asio, internal, and assign them to master and monitor. or ebay it and get a super cheap usb soundcard and then set that up in asio. because for some reason in traktor it wont allow 2 seperate soundcards.

My laptop can do it, using the separate "Communications headphone" jack.

but is it able to connect to an external speaker? being that there's only one headphone jack and that would be used for monitoring purpose. just curious

yes, but that's because I have two headphone jacks, not one.

i see what your are doing , i did this with a tower pc a while back you have a headphone jack in the front and one in the back, to correctly utilize this in traktor (or any dj program) you will need to aggregate. ASIO4All is a free windows program that makes a "virtual sound card" with your two sound card channels. Once setup, you can select ASIO4All in your sound card options and then select the appropriate channel for master or monitor. I will say this , it is great for beginning as you dont have to go out and purchase equipment, but remember that the sound quality takes a hit because your pc is doing more processing to aggregate the sounds rather than having a single sound card with multiple outs.

That is true, which stinks when it comes to using internal soundcard mixing on differ softwares. uses more cpu which sometimes causes that lag. another route is if you can find a low priced mixer and just run the audio from one soundcard in mono, while using a 1/8" to rca Y-cord with two double male to single female rca splitter, connect splitters to Y-cord plug white ito ch1, red into ch2 and in traktor route your sounds to external. Deck A is mono left(1) Deck B mono right(2). Now you do your monitoring from the mixer and the master from the mixer . uses less cpu and you become familiar with a mixer. Just a suggestion
