What are you trying to replicate?

Was trying to map the jog wheel on the DDJT1 to Fx.

Since I have 4 decks, I figured I could sacrifice one of them and dedicate it to an fx jog wheel....The Native Pioneer DDJT1 control file doesn't support jog wheel mapping so I tried in General Midi instead....but once I got to the General Midi mapping in Tractor Pro 2.5.....it lists the jog wheel position in Musical notation MIDI?! and couldn't even get the jog wheel to turn on the effects, yet alone work as an fx knob

Haven't heard of anyone that's done it, so I should just move on, maybe map the Maschine instead as an fX unit

In most of cases jogwheel sends two massages. Example:

    Jog turn = CC.001
    Jog touch = C#1

If your controller does the same you can easily map jog FX.

    hey ¡
Im having troubles with my ddjt1, I can not pitch bend using the jog wheel by pressing the FUNCTION button as is said in the map here http://forums.pioneerdj.com/entries/...1-map-for-djay

Could anyone help me to understand how to use the jog wheel as a pitch bender

    Thanks in advance

    Hey bufalosolider,

I just checked link you have posted and it seem like that mapping is made for Algoriddim djay. Have you tried some traktor mapping at all?

Hey stewe thanks for your reply.

Algoriddim djay? the link says DDJ-T1 Map for djay, I'm lost here..

a friend of a friend told me that the jog wheel can not be used as a pitch bender, the only way to change pitch is with the Pitch scroll
    he said..

    So I don't know.

I'm not with mac so can't really test ride it and see which commands are used to pitch band but from your link it say that pitch is mapped in... You tried to to get it working from nudging from side of jogwheel?

yes man I've tried almost everything, I even dis-configure all the mapping by re-importing a standard map file (.vl something)
then I reconfigure the old mapping set up.

I want to start mixing without the sync button, and I need more precision on the pitch bender, can the jog wheel be used as a pitch bender like the pitch scroll?
