    Cool Feedback on first song!

Hey guys, I produced my first song yesterday!

    http://soundcloud.com/n-rd/blue-rhodes

I still have a lot to learn, and would appreciate any constructive criticism (:

It isn't exactly a club banger, but I think it has a nice feel to it.

Super chilled out and could use some more sounds/instruments.

But its not bad for your first at all dude!

yeh i agree that its needs more instrumentation, sonically sounds balanced pretty well. need something that plays a "melody" and something else that plays a "rhythm". Could totally imagine a female singer on this singing whisper quite and really close to the mic. would make it even more intimate

    This.
It's good. It sounds like a bloody good intro and break but there's no meat to it.
I like the chill vibe though.

i listened to it i my headphones and i cant say i dig the pan lfo on the rhodes.
good wibe tho. really chilled out track. but i think mayby one or two more instruments would do the trick, keep it simple tho.
i think you could do anything with this track. make it a real banger or keep it like this.
no hate man, keep up the work and dont let anyone break you down!

    Tip I got from a DJTTer :

I didn't want to "use" this tip at first, but now I'm really glad I did.

Don't make your tracks public. Few days after working on something you'll realise that beyond the initial satisfaction, it's pure shit. You don't want people to associate you to a beginner.

Keep them private, send them to some people to get feedback, but really, if you "release" track when you know you're not that good, you may be happy for 1 day, but you'll regret it afterwards.

Work, work, sleep, work, work, and come back in few years with awesome music.

PS : I don't want to be mean, this applies for me aswell. I know something's wrong with my productions, because I'm new to the thing, and that's normal. But I keep them private and once I'll be really satisfied with what I do, in around a year or 2 maybe, I might start to release some stuff.

Really like the sound. But like others have said, needs to be made into more of a track. Soft female vocal would be nice.

Thanks for all the feedback! I'll definitely work on it a bit and add more instruments, make it longer etc.

I only put it on soundcloud in order to get feedback from people to you guys, I haven't gone screaming from the rooftops that this is my new awesome track haha. Thanks for the advice though (:
