    Default How to i proggresively speed up a part of a song

    Want to take a sample from a song chop it up and speed up a part as an intro .I really don't know any other way to explain like beatbeatbeatbeabeabeabbbbbbbbbb . any help greatly apreciated

    you just want it speed up or the sample shortened?

    Drop it in Ableton's Arrangement view, automate the master tempo to the desired BPM range and set the clip's algorithm to Pitch if you want that to change as well, otherwise leave it as it is.

    If you want it shortened you can either do a manual beatroll in Traktor or edit it in Ableton.

    I think he means the loop halving and halving trick. You could do that in Ableton by setting a loop and changing the length even if it's best to map it into a controller instead of typing in loop length values. In Traktor this is trivial with its loop tools.

    dont forget to assign it to a choke group for no voice overlap.
