Default Creating Roll Feature on Launchpad

    Hi guys,

I'm currently trying to implement a roll feature for each deck on my launchpad, and I'm having some problems when I press several buttons at the same time.

I'm using a legal version of traktor 2.6 and the Midi Katapult!

    The mapping for one button:

    e.g.

    Flux Mode On (Hold)
    Loop Set (Hold)
    Set Loop Size (1/8) (Hold)

The problem is that if I press another button, for example the one for 1/16 I have to keep the previous one pressed, or else traktor will exit flux mode and skip to the point where the track is playing.

I want to be able to press a button, then while holding that same button, press another to change the loop size and then if i release the first button I pressed it doesn't exit flux mode.

Have you tried using beatmasher instead of flux+loop? same general feature except you cant get an epic 32count loop to roll. But from the example you gave it seems like you don't need a giant loop to roll... Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm trying to create something similar to the DDJ-SX roll feature... I have a button for each loop size from 16 bars to 1/8 bar

I'm pretty sure the Beatmasher is what you are looking for. I think it only does 2 bars max (or is that just beat slicer?), but can go down to at least 1/8 note, maybe smaller.
The beatmasher is basically puts a loop down with flux activated. It's probably possible to do it your way, but will need some serious mapping trickery.

Personally, I can't think of a time that I would need a 64 beat loop roll.

Even then, why not just put a loop? A loop roll isn't going to make the track any longer...

Yes... I think some kind of modifier would solve my problem, but I didn't find out how yet :P

I don't think you are getting the idea... The beatmasher not only does a loop roll as it slices the sounds and plus, I just want it to be active while I hold a button.

Why not using separate button that toggles flux mode? That way you don't need to mess with modifiers.
