Thoughts on Push
I know it's not out yet and that more in-depth videos are just starting, but………any thoughts on Push?
The thing looks like it ticks all the right boxes. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas how well it'll integrate with 3rd party synthesizers and effects. Live can run them and give them a default interface that's mostly labeled correctly. I assume that means that Push will be okay with them.
Basically, I keep thinking about integrating Maschine into my DJ setup, and without using Traktor + Sync, the best way to do it sees to be to host it in Live just for Live's tempo controls.
Basically…I'm seriously considering getting one as soon as it comes out…and possibly selling my Maschine. I've used Live before and think it's fine (though I'd still bounce/record to audio and do the mixing in Pro Tools). I think I might still have a License to Live 8 lying around, possibly making it cheaper…but even the $950 it costs with Live Standard would be okay (I don't like Live's included instruments).
One other thing……has anyone seen anything about it doing mackie control HUI or anything like that? It's not actually all that important, but it'd be kinda cool. I don't see anything about it on the site.
Is there anything serious I'm not seeing that you guys know about? Is there any chance I'll get anything at all for my Maschine mk1 selling it, or should I just put it in a box?
Also, forgive me if there's another thread about this. I didn't see one.

I think it looks pretty interesting, and I'm definitely keen to get my hands on one asap. Not sure how well I'll get on with it since I didn't really take to the Maschine workflow, but I'm willing to give it a go. My only concern is that it will be something I really only use for sketching out drums in a track, and I'm not sure I want to dedicated table space to just that. We'll see
