The shipping itself isn't really the problem, customs are. Looks like they didn't check your package though, consider yourself lucky

Thomann are awful to deal with, I always recommend to stay clear of them!
Took up an offer that they printed in Computer Music for 3 consecutive months and when I called up it was £50 more expensive! Called 3 different times and each operator was adamant that they were in the right, didn't bother reporting them to trading standards.
