Exclamation Utility 2.3 Failed to find MidiFighter in bootloader mode

Just got my MF3D today but cannot update the firmware, it always fails with this error.

Utility v2.3 - Failed to find MidiFighter in bootloader mode

I read in the forums that AV or firewalls can cause this, so i uninstalled all of it and disabled windows firewall.Traktor and windows recognize it, and the lights work.Traktor does nothing when pushing buttons, i tried 2.6 & 2.13 with multiple mappings, but wont do anything.I would of expected it to at least do something.

During the update the mf3d powers down and up again, also the system sound for device unplugged plays then again for connecting.Idk if this is the issue, it does this if i try putting it in boot mode manually.

I have finally managed to get the firmware installed.Had to unplug it during the update and hold down all four corners before plugging it back in.Now the real issue is clear, it doesnt seem to send any Midi to traktor. The remix deck portion of mappings work a little just to launch clips. But anything else sends no message. As i understand it the remix deck uses HID, is that correct? Is my unit just not sending midi?

Sorry about the initial firmware update issue!

So if you are using the MF3D in remix deck mode you need to set one of the side buttons to toggle between midi and HID modes.

In HID mode it works as a remix deck controller and sends no MIDI, but when you toggle to MIDI mode using the side key it will function like normal.
