Default LED Mapping - MidiFighter 3D

    DJTT,

I poked around on this, but couldn't find anything.

I'm mapping my 3D for various effects and modes I use and wanted to know how to map a button to stay a solid color when on, reminding me it's on. For example, if I'm mapping a freeze or EQ kill, is there a way to have it change to a color and stay that color until I tap it again? If so, please let me know how - thanks!!

    Hello,

To do that you just have to play with the MIDI RANGE value minimum and maximum.

    Example:
    Control: Fx Unit 4 On
    Assignment: Deck A
    Type of Controller: LED
    Interaction Mode: Output

    Controller Range: 0 - 1
    Midi Range: 122 - 127
    Invert box: Checked

Don't forget that if you want this LED to stay on the color you set it must be in Toggle mode.

    Hope this is clear.

Thanks all. I copied Beau's three steps, but it's not working. Have to test if I have to modify the MF3D via the Utility. Will try again...

DJTT - figured this out, with the help of BTFaires:

    Add In: Flux Mode; Button/Toggle
Add Out: Flux Mode; Blend = Checked; Range 0 -1; # Selection Determines LED Color & Action

Lower #'s 60 - 90 (approximate) will change the color of the button once it is toggled, higher #'s 120+ will flash the LED. For example 125 makes the LED slowly flash red whereas 127 (approximate) makes it flash red very fast...

Hope this helps anyone else who stumbles across the post...

    Thanks all

Actually, in re-reading other posts, the answer may have already been here, I just missed it.

Either way, thanks DJTT - appreciate the help...
