My friend and I built this a few years ago to house my old setup
I added two CD players and minused a Turntable and eventually moved to the CDs completely for a few years.
I was definitely out of space and needed to simplify things.
my first laptop based setup.
As it sits now.
I have since cleaned up the wiring.
