Anybody got a mapping for the mixtrack pro that includes mapping 2 more hot cues a filter and gain and mapping my sync button out into a shift key?

How much MIDI mapping in Traktor (I'm assuming you're using Traktor) do you understand? because it would be pretty basic to do all that yourself, it would take about 5 minutes.

They have some mappings on Traktor Bible usually. But I'll type you out a quick set of instructions:

Access your mappings by going to Traktors options screen -> controller manager -> and making sure "generic midi" is selected, this will be your Mixtrack Pro.

    SYNC/SHIFT

    1. Find the function that says Sync, and delete it
    2. Click "Add in.."
    3. Modifier -> Modifier #1
    4. Click Learn, then press the sync button, then unclick learn.
    5. Change function to "hold" (not direct or trigger).
    6. Set value to 1 (double click in box, then type).
    7. Repeat for deck B.
    8. Look at the modifier states at the top of your screen, you should see 1/0, when you press sync, it should change to 1/1 then back again when you let go.
    9. Now, when you want something to happen when you hold shift, all you have to is set the bit in that mapping that says "condition" to Modifier 1 = value 1. (Eg: If I want a knob to act as gain/filter, I would set them both to the same knob, but then change one of them to Modifier 1 = 1).

To do the rest of your mappings, click "add in..." then find the function that you want, use "learn" again etc.
From there, you just need to know what functions and targets do:

    Functions: Direct, Hold, toggle, trigger.
Direct = sets something when pressed. Does nothing if pressed again and the thing is already set. (e.g. set to value Deck A, if Deck A is already selected, does nothing)
Hold = Functions as long as button is held.
Toggle = Sets when pressed, changes back when pressed again. e.g. play/pause is a toggle.
Trigger = rarely used, dont worry.

Targets are obvious - this sets the target for the mapping, Deck A/B/C/D or "device target" is whichever deck you have active.

Button/Knob/Slider/Encoder = Buttons and sliders are obvious, encoders and knobs aren't always aren't so. Anything that goes around infinitely is usually an encoder, on a mixtrack pro this includes the jogwheels and the three effects/loop knobs. A "knob" is on that has limits/stops at each end, such as the EQ knobs.

Sensitivity settings should probably be left alone for this.

    Good luck!

Same thing..."Add in", find the one that says "filter adjust", click "learn", give the knob that you want to use as a filter a tweak, unclick "learn"...set the "button type" to "encoder" or "knob/slider" depending on what you're using (see above). If you only want the filter to work when you hold your shift key, change "condition" to Modifier 1 = 1.

For the hot cues, same again, "add in"...find the one that says "store/set + select cue", learn, press, unclick learn, then set the "value" to hotcue 1, and set the deck target as well.

The same principles apply for everything, and it's something worth learning. Its not too hard to figure out. Failing that, Traktor Bible have loads of mappings, and theres a mapping section on this website.

If you click "export" it saves your current settings as a .tsi file, then if anything goes wrong you can click "import" and bring them back. Also, don't get caught up in MIDI channels, or the "add out" feature, that's for your LEDs.
