you might as well buy new...I wouldn't give more then $350.00...they are great tables but not built like the 1200s

    NICE!

I have the STR8-100's and LOVE them to bits.

Just FYI....the 100's are HEAVY! The 150's are even heavier!

But loads of torque...Instant Reverse ...Ultra Pitch.....they are great!

I got mine with a pair of Ortofon Concorde Elektro's for R2500...thats about $370.

He wanted more...but i knew that TT sales are down BIIIIG time here in South Africa.
So offered what I had and he took it!

Cheers sarasin, posted out today so should be with me by Thursday. Just spent another £100 on over 300 new vinyls to add to my collection. Extending my horizon from mid to late 90's early 2000 trance to a variety of house/funky house techno and prog techno as well as some other stuff. In the future I'm gonna get my self a new mixer (cross fader) and eventually new amp n speaker set up. Just running off my technics system for now. Old but still sold and working.
Also looking in to purchasing a behringer uca222 to record some of my sessions on my iPad.

I had a pair of str8150's before they got stolen. Best TT's Ive ever had. I liked them better than my techs and pdx 2000's. Make sure they were well taken care of. If theyre still in time (check the light againt the dots at all three speeds to make sure all is tuned), then they were taken care of and super worth it.

Hah! I once worked with a guy who went out and spent about five grand on guitars and amps one afternoon on a whim. When he finished telling me in loving detail about his purchases he added "Don't tell my wife!" He wasn't joking; she had no idea and he was hiding all that gear in a mate's garage. Well, I guess she knows now, because they're divorced....He was a bit of a tit, to be honest. Nice guy, though...

Anyway, Now that I've put the fear in you enjoy your new toys. Nothing better than new kit, except, of course, fantasizing about what your going to buy next!

My mrs knows I got them lol she paid for them (well Trained )
I was just suffering with pre match nerves so to speak. Had them for a few days now n loving them. Just when your paying so much second hand it's just putting your trust Into someone else for not selling u crap so to speak. I'm just caning the practice now so my little bday house party goes down a storm.
