You can grab, edit and save samples from your soundcard in Traktor. It's way simpler than I thought. I've uploaded a mapping which should make it even simpler.

Check the vid and grab the mapping here: https://maps.djtechtools.com/mappings/1448

    EXTREMELY USEFUL! Nice one.

Nice little routine you got there, too.

Double thumbs up for you man. As a guy looking for adding more samples to my big, open trance breakdowns, this is an epic win!

Cheers to all the posters BTW I don't know if it's coincidence but I just had to reinstall my soundcard drivers because it stopped working, and that's never happened before. It played okay, but wasn't showing any signal on the recording side of the stereo mix. Anyway, the reinstall fixed it.

I couldn't get it to work on my machine. Without an external soundcard plugged in the only options I get to choose are IN L and IN R.

Is your soundcard enabled for recording? In my soundcard settings I've disabled the microphone inputs and enabled the stereo mix for recording.
