Ep's and Lp's

Hey I was wondering what an ep and lp were?

I've seen a lot of my favorite artist release them? some have a couple songs and some have the same song just remixed by other artists.

Can anyone make one or do you have to be signed by a label?

Lp = Full length album
EP = Short album

Like 99% of dance music is released as singles and EP's, very few people release LP's largely because there is no real point. Anyone can make either if have recording equipment...whether or not anyone listens to it or you make money off it really depends on getting signed to a record label
