Default Great price for A&H DB2

Saw this on another forum, but thought I'd better post it here.

For all you guys in North America, if your looking for a decent mixer, this has got to be an excellent deal:

An absolute bargain, IMO, and will blow any equivalently priced Pioneer mixer right out the water...

Lol. If there is any sense on the forum, the latest purchase thread should be pretty busy with these soon...

$1100. Not exactly an amazing deal as it's the same price over here in the UK once you include tax.

It's pretty amazing for over there though. UK is actually a lot cheaper than US/Canada probably only for A&H gear. Just about everything else is cheaper over there.

Anyway, as an example, if your in Calgary (Alberta or similar), 5% GST so it's still only £740. So still a fair bit cheaper than here. And still a pretty good deal.

No need to be down on everything that aint Pioneer...

No need to be down on Pioneer in order to promote A+H. They were obviously struggling to shift units at the old price, and I doubt they'll shift a huge lot more even with the cut.

Not down on Pioneer to promote A+H. I do like Pioneer gear. But, £ for £ (or $ for $ in this case), the DB2 makes a much better deal than the Pioneer equivalent.

The DJM 750 out next month is cheaper, has more inputs, includes S/R loop, has much better VU meters, and I'm assuming the sound card will be capable of lower latencies too.

    I've been between a DJM 800 and a DB2 (I don't use software). Is the DB2 worth the extra $500?
