A lot of threads in this forum section tend to go ignored. There aren't many hang out on here. I do because I like giving feedback. More feedback = better songs all round which = more bangin' tunes!

Anyway, onto your remix...Are you up against much in the competition? I don't really know what the standard for these is.
Nice synths at 0:49 though, would be nice if they featured more!

Not sure about the competition, but I've heard a few of the uploaded remixes and they tend to sound rather similar to the original.


This isn't even near the final product so who knows man, maybe those synths will show up a lot more

Good ideas for sure man. Its just the mixing and effect use i want to comment on. The beginning kick sounds sort of underwater. Are you cutting alot of highs out? Maybe some verb on that clap too? Overall i feel like your missing alot of high frequencies in your mix. Drop is pretty sick though. Just an idea try putting the word "rock" on the offbeat of the drop. kinda like how they do it for trap.

Overall love the composition just needs some different mixing.
However this is purely my opinion.

Yeah the kick for the build up had a filter on with a low frequency for more bass, I tried to make it a bit trappish but I need to work on that more.

i was referring to the lack of high end in the kick. I know a kick shouldn't necessarily have high end, but i mean the punch, or slap, or where the beater meets the drum. That is wat also comes through on crappy laptop speakers as well. Low end doesnt translate to laptop speakers.
