one shots in ableton live 9 lite

Hi DJTT
I have been djing with serato for years now and I just got a Launchpad s with ableton live 9 lite
it works great!
but
I wanted to start finger drumming and guessed I needed to setup some one-shots
but I cant seem to figure it out!
please can someone help me find out how to make oneshots?

Turn Loop OFF on the sample/clip that you want as a one shot.

You need to read up on Clip Properties, Clip View and the Loop Switch.
