Default Novation Twitch LEDs lit even without mapping. Buttons stuck on "toggle".

I recently purchased the Novation Twitch and am using it with Traktor Scratch Pro 2. I have re-mapped everything I want, but the effects section (top-left) has 4 buttons that will not change from being 'toggle'.

These buttons are the 4 in a row underneath the knobs (W/D, Knob 1, 2, 3). On the Traktor default mapping they are FX Params 1 to 4.

When I press the button, even after deleting all mappings from Traktor and removing/re-inserting the USB connection and reloading Traktor, the Twitch still shows a red LED on these 4 buttons which can be toggled on and off.

During the use of Traktor, pressing one of these buttons disables all 4 knobs in the FX section, until I toggle the button off again.

Is there a mapping hardwired into the Twitch?

How can I totally reset the controller so that the hardwired mapping doesn't interfere with my custom mapping?

    Thanks guys.

    Default Figured it out

Just for anyone who stumbles across this thread. I had the Twitch set up in Basic mode. This means that some settings are preset (e.g. deck change function), and the effects section.

To change to Advanced mode (which turns the controller into a blank set of midi controls) hold the Back and Forward buttons (Open and Close buttons) in the browser section, and then click the browser knob in. All the LEDs should turn off. Do this before opening Traktor, and now you can open up Traktor and use the controller as a pure MIDI controller without preset functions.

If you read the manual, you'd know that the Twitch has two modes.

One is the "easy" mode, where it handles the different layers for you. This includes the different layers in the FX section, and the layers for the 2x4 performance grid. The other is a fully manual mode, where you can map everything yourself.

There is a way to change it to a fully manual mode, but I don't remember it, so you'll have to check the manual for that.
