Default 4 channel mixer controller for Traktor?

    Hello:

Anyone have a recommendation on a 4 mixer channel controller for controlling Track decks and Remix decks. I just got a Z1+X1+F1 setup and would like better control of the remix decks in the mix.

So, what I think I'm looking for to replace the Z1 is:

    - Uses Traktor's internal mixer and effects.
    - Allows me to control a Remix deck same as track deck (interchangable)
    - 4 channels with standard mixer controls
    - Audio card optional (I'll add an external one if needed)
    - Don't need jog wheels or crossfader.

    I'd like to run X1 (A&B), F1 (C), and Maschine Mikro (D).

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

Kone:K2! Soundcard, 4 channels, and plenty of controls for EQing Mixing, hotcues, etc.

As jude said, i'm thinking the k2 is your only other option if you're looking at this kind of form factor if you want the built in sounds card, but if not there's also the Behringer CMD MM-1. or you go could a 4 channel full size usb mixer which will allow you to add cdj's or TTs if you decide you want to go down that way, the Behringer DDM4000 is a fully midi mappable mixer, i have no experience with it, but recently it seems people have begun to take a liking to it.

Thanks. It looks cool. It looks like the K2 and the MM-1 are really the only options.

I think I'm going to go with the MM-1 and a RME Babyface for a full modular setup and I can get a phono pre-amp to also add an input for playback or sampling for the remix deck.

    Thanks!

I decided to go with the MM-1 plus a Babyface. The only issue I'm hitting now is getting a correct mapping for the MM-1. There seems to be an issue with some units transmitting on midi ch1 and some on ch5.

My ultra modular setup worked out to be:
    MB Air
    Traktor
    X1
    F1
    Maschine
    MM-1
    Babyface
    Radial J33 Turntable DI

Now, I just need to figure out a good workflow for Maschine and the Remix Decks!

The livid ds1 is nice, but it lacks endless led ring rotary knobs ...

I think im going for the livid code 2 for mixing eq and filters in traktor
Combined with a modular livid elements rack for faders and buttons

Or do you thinks the livid code v2 buttons are to close to each other for mixing?
