    Default VCI-400 Transport LED Colors

I'm trying to remap the colors of the transport section but I can't seem to figure it out. What I was hoping was that the each of the 6 buttons on each side were all able to be mapped to green, red, and yellow. I've played around with the MIDI out variables, but haven't made a lot of progress to be able to map all 3 colors for each of the transport buttons.

I know each of them can be mapped to green. However, I can't seem to map either the Cue or Play buttons to red, and it seems that the other 4 are only red/green buttons. Is this the case?

What is driving me nuts is this picture - which would leave me to believe otherwise.

Anyone have any input on this?

first you need to install the Serato firmware to get control of the LED's. then once you have mapped the LED's you can change the value it sends from your dj software. The unfortunate thing is that you don't get to control all of the colors. the outside 4 buttons are green/red and the inside two are green/yellow, so you are correct that you can have all the button's green, but you can't have all the buttons red or yellow as it's not built into the firmware.

I think your only option is to pester Vestax to make the firmware more open giving control of red/yellow and on/dim/off throughout the controller. I feel they never delivered on their promise of having the most configurable controller and really should have given us all the options possible.
