I was dancing like that at Spring Awakening fest last year... Because I lost my mind. Found it several days later.

Nope, shuffling is a real thing in the UK at least. It's fine to do dance however you want, but a lot of people shuffle in rammed crowds which, as you can imagine, is not quite pleasant which is why shufflers have a bad reputation.
