    Default Kontrol Z2 sticky buttons.

    Hi good people out there

I'm having issues with my Z2 mixer.
I bought a Z2 months ago and the buttons on it seemed to get stuck every once in a while. I found that to be unaccaptable to me, so I asked for a replacement. No further questions asked, I got a new one. Unboxed it, turned it on, pushed some buttons and seemed to be able to replicate the problem of the previous unit. So I contact NI again and again, no questions asked, I got a 3rd unit. After unboxing this latest unit, I push some buttons and the problem is on this new unit still.
I contacted NI again saying that all of the returned mixers are having the issue. I got a mail back, saying that I won't get another replacement because they think I don't like "the feeling" of the buttons.
I responded with yet another video of me pushing the crappy buttons.
I have yet to receive mail from them regarding this.
In the videos, you can see that the buttons don't always come back and further pressing it doesn't trigger a control.
What do you guys think of this?

I had the same problem with 2 or 3 of those buttons on my last S4, before returning it and selling the replacement. That's one of the several reasons I don't use NI controllers or mixers any more.

I'm going to do that too. I bought a Pioneer DJM 850, hope it will serve me better. Now Maschine will have it's own channel strip, which is great .

Gonna miss the loop encoders/display though.

Get an X1 Mk2 then . I didn't mean to include the X1 in my last post as it doesn't have the same troublesome components like the other controllers.

That is so strange i've never had that problem with my z2 tbh. The buttons are really smooth and never stick haha.
