Default Is there any stable Traktor setup right now? More nightmares with Traktor.

    Hey guys,
So I've had the most ridiculous time with the Traktor S4 over the past few months.

First, I was having constant USB cutouts/Kernel crashes as a result of some haywire bullshit happening between by Macbook Pro and my S4. Native Instruments never replied to my request for Tech Support. Here's my thread on their support forum:

    http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...tor-s4.215947/

I eventually convinced the people at the Apple Store that it was my laptop (I have no idea if this is the case but it's worth a shot), so I got them to give me a brand new Macbook Pro. Great, or so I thought.

THEN. It turns out that the Traktor S4 MK1 is NOT compatible with the new Macbook Pros...at all. Here's a thread with an asston of people having the same problem:

Okay, so I go and get a Traktor S4 MK2, because that supposedly solves the problem with the compatibility.

Great, or so I thought. Turns out there's a bunch of new bugs with the new MK2 and the new Macbook Pro.

Here's a thread with an asston of people having this same problem:

What the fuck is the deal here?

IS THERE ANY STABLE TRAKTOR SETUP THAT WORKS WITH THE NEW MACBOOK PRO NOW? I'm getting really fucking sick of this bullshit from this piss poor excuse of a software company.

Right now I'm considering getting a DJM T1 because it's not made by these assholes who clearly don't care about their customers, but the Z2 is a possible option as well. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good, functional Traktor setup that is STABLE right now?

The drivers for my DJM 900 have worked well on the 3 or 4 Macbooks I've tested, and I don't recall ever having problems like crashes or dropouts.

    FORUMS ARE NOT SUPPORT. EVER.

There is an actual support venue for NI products in both Europe and the US, and they take calls all day. I suggest that you actually contact NI support BEFORE you blather on about how it sucks.

Your links don't work, because you copied and pasted them from another post and there is an ellipsis in them. Fixing the links in your original post might help people understand what problems you're having.

I use the z2 and x1 mk2 combo and its stable with my alienware 14. A lot has todo with how you also configure your laptops processor. Also what type of usb cable you have. I used to use the ones that came with my gear but i actually purchased the ones from dj tech tools and they seemed to solve my slight drop out problem i was having! But there's more to it them just the gear you're using.
