    Default Any FL Studio users?

I first used it back when it was Fruity Loops in about 2002/3. It felt like it fir my workflow well. However, I then moved over to Mac for other reasons and lost FL. I have since been through Reason, Cubase, Ableton and currently on Logic Pro X. However, DAWs being a personal thing, none of them clicked with me as much as FL did and it felt way more intuitive to me and just seemed to make sense without really having to think too much about learning my way around. FL just fit me.

I have now, finally, installed Windows on a second partition on my Mac Pro and am about to buy FL Studio to venture back into it.

I was just wondering if anybod is using it to make pro songs, releases and so on?

I started with it, but unlike you it didn't fit my workflow. I'd recommend downloading an eval version to see if the workflow still fits how you create. I'm sure a lot has changed since 02/03.

There are a number of producers making pro songs on it. It's a solid DAW, just didn't fit my workflow.

Yeah, I will be using a trial version first before taking the punt. However, I am fairly sure it is the same as I have been keeping an eye on it's development and they seemed to have bucked the trend of all other DAWs by sticking to their guns on the pattern creation system that I liked about it.

Maybe the more in-depth elements, such as VST instruments, effects and so on as they will have clearly been upgraded. However, the main interface, pattern maangement interface etc are all there, just like they were in 2003

Yeah - they've kept that. I think you'll like the changes. It really is a more serious DAW than it was. Some really nice sounding instruments, too.

    How you guys doing?
Personally I think it would easier to get the program called Parallel its great to use Fl studio on a Mac without having to run it in windows, the program only cost about $40. Also like the others said, compared to 03 to what it is now is a huge difference you may want to look it over first.

They are working on a version for Mac, there is a beta on image line website but it is a bit buggy not had a look in a few months though. FL is just like live but still has that fruity loops feel to it. Would be fun to try the new performance mode with the midi fighter.
