    Default external mixer

I have 2 denon sc2900's and a beringer ddm4000. I want to use the sc2900's to control decks a and b in midi mode and use the ddm4000 as an external mixer. Do I need a usb audio interface?

No, you don't need an additional audio interface. The SC2900s have their own interfaces built in that can be used to send audio to the mixer.

Just install the denon ASIO Driver, make sure both devices are ticked in the ASIO control panel, and then select the correct outputs in your DJ software.
