Default Configuring Mixtrack Pro 2 to play through bluray

    Hey everyone,
So I searched for a thread to answer my ? But I couldnt find it.

I have a LG bluray surround sound system that im trying to play my controller through. The controller is plugged into the surround sound via RCA and the surround sound is plugged into my pc via HDMI but no sound is coming through.
How do I configure it so that it will play...or is it even possible? Im running windows 7 as well.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Not too familiar with windows 7 as I'm a mac guy, but I know that HDMI carries audio signals so you likely have a conflict between your laptop and your controller sending audio to your surround system. You need to select RCA as the input source for the audio on the surround system as that would solve things. Unless you're plugging your laptop in to have it display on a screen, you really have no need to have it plugged in to the surround. Hopefully this works.
Also, keep in mind that surround (5.1, 6.1, or 7.1) has more channels than the stereo output of your controller, so you might not get sound out of all speakers of your surround system.
