Default Odyssey S4 flight case to use with S2 MK2?

I am wondering if anyone has any idea for or against what I am thinking.

I have a S2 MK2 controller, but I really want to keep my stuff organized and put away when I am not using to avoid my 2 year old destroying to pieces.

So I figure a S2 will definitely fit in the odyssey S4 case, and I'll also have some extra room for my bose soundlink and all the cables and headset.

So when I want to play and practice, i'll just bust out 1 case, and put my mac on the laptop tray and cable things up, bring the speaker and off i go. when i am done, just put it all back. quick and organized and convenient?

the other idea i originally had was to custom build a case/table, but why spend few precious weekends on woodworking rather than djing?

I have an Odyssey S2 case for my S2. It has extra room below it (I store my hub and external Hd) and some room on the top if you choose not to store your laptop in it (which I don't). Well worth it when you consider you can wire your gear up prior to a gig... Have my set up time down to 10 minutes .
Obviously, a custom case is always better, but as you mentioned, takes away from other things during the building process
