    Question QS - Twitch mixer only mapping

    Hi there,
    after so much hours of testing some mappings, for use with multiple hardware (Behringer PL-1, Twitch and a Launchpad S), but the most mappings won't work with other mappings.
    So i decided to make a simple "Mixer only" mapping for the Twitch.

    On the Pl-1 i use Stewe's PL-1 performance mapping, for the Launchpad S i use CTC RemixPad v1.0.

    Now i got the problem to map the Filter button and encoder to work together. The Filter button is also mapped to control the gain.

    If i push the filter on button on the twitch i wanna control the filter, if the button was of i wanna control the gain.
    Atm i got only to control both at the same time with a modifier.

    Pls help if u have any ideas.

    Hello Manu,

    I'm not familiar with Twitch hardware but would like to help you on this. The part I'm not so sure about is your Filter/Gain knob - you sure that this is actual rotary encoder? And not just a simple rotary knob such as your EQ knobs?

    PS. Thanks for choosing my PL-1 mapping btw, how's that one doing the job for you? -haven't got much feedback so far...

    Cheers,

    Hey Stewe, yes you're right, it's a rotary knob. The problem i have is to use the modifier as a function change button.
    My mapping still @ the beginning and it's not complete atm.

    I like your mapping a lot, it works great.

    OK - so I've look into your mapping and it appears that modifier commands are missing. Here's the example of the exact settings that you should apply:

    Filter On button:
    Modifier 1 / condition M1=0 / type=button / mode=direct / value=1
    Modifier 1 / condition M1=1 / type=button / mode=direct / value=0
    Filter On / condition M1=0 / type=button / mode=direct / value=1
    Filter On / condition M1=1 / type=button / mode=direct / value=0

    Gain/Filter Adjust knob:
    Gain Adjust / condition M1=0 / type=fader / mode=direct
    Filter Adjust / condition M1=1 / type=fader / mode=direct

    Yay that works nice.

    Now i got a problem with the Load buttons, i have seen on your mapping there will no load button, to load a track into a deck.

    So i use the Twitch for that, that works but the OUT won't.
    If i don't have i track in the deck i want the led off, if a track is loaded into a deck i want the led on.

    Did u have an idea?

    Nice

    You are correct, my PL-1 mapping is designed to go with a midi mixer such as CMD MM-1 which has this track browsing and loading options.

    Far as displaying loaded deck goes this is the command you're after:

    Add Out > Deck Common > Deck Is Loaded

    If you find anything that bugs you, feel free to respond with other questions. I'm here to help

    Yes i got is, but the led won't light up if a track is loaded.

    I'm not sure if i'm right. If the deck is empty the led should be off, if a track is loaded in the deck the led should be on, right?

    Hmmm... can I see a screen shot of your LED options?

    Your controller range should be set:
    min=0
    max=1

    And your MIDI range:
    min=0
    max=127 (if that's a multicolor button than try out different values)

    Thanks! I can see the 'Blend' is checked... Did you try testing without this option?
