Default S4 Cue Buttons Problem :-(

    Hello all!

I hope some of you are able to help me! I have a problem with my first generation S4. On deck B my cue buttons 1 and 2 are not reacting as prober as all the others. When the hardware makes the "clicky" noise, the other cue buttons react, but with 1 and 2 i have to put more pressure on it to react. Cue 2 a bit more than cue 1. I would be really sad to have to send my controller to germany for a repair, since my guarantee doesn't cover it any longer. Could it somehow be software related, or is there an easy fix for it?

Hope you're able to help me!

nope it's not software related it's a common hardware well known issue with the s4 (well known meaning there are a lot of testimonies about the s4's buttons starting to be less responsive after a while, even in some cases without extensive use). The built isn't that great (it's not bad either but still). From here you have three choices really: live with it, open the unit yourself just to check what you could do eventually (something I'm too lazy to do), send it to be fixed.
    Latest mix

There’s also an almost hermetic community that exists in many areas of dance music, where serious hobbyists feed off each other’s expertise but barely connect to the industry – despite many of those involved actually working in it.
