S2/Traktor Pro 2.5 | "There are no mapped controllers. Switch on the device"

Hi there,

I recently purchased a Kontrol S2 and have installed Traktor Pro 2.5 (not using the most recent version as I don't want to update my OS).

I'm not able to select the S2 during the set-up wizard, but I'm able to select it from the Audio Setup and Control Manager pages in Preferences. When I go to recalibrate the mapping I get the following message:

"There are no mapped controllers. Switch on the device"

Problem is, the device is on (and already recognized by the software). When I turn on the S2 the lights all light up, then fade out, but the USB light remains lit up.

I'm not sure if this is a driver issue, but I've installed everything according to NI's directions. The system I'm working on is a Macbook Pro (2011) with 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and 4gb of RAM.

Please help! Really want to get this working, trying to make the switch from Serato and have been nothing but frustrated so far...

if you have S2 mk2 you need at least Traktor 2.6 for the mk2 to work. However you can switch your device in MIDI mode and use some custom maps.
