Traktor X1 MkII; Mapping; Learn Function wont work
Good evening,
i got a new Traktor X1 MK II and i want to map the Cue Buttons as additional Shift Buttons.
How can i do that? I wont figure it out. Can't find the Shift-Function in the drop down menues. And the Learn Function also wont work. Am i doing sth wrong?
I tried to change the generic midi and the Default Device. But nothing wont work.
I have the newest Version of Traktor Scratch.
Could somebody explain that to me? would be nice.. or is it even possible?
Greetings,
Christoph

I think I understand what your asking and to achive what you want you need to create modifiers with these buttons so for example:
When you press the Shift buton that would activate a modifier, say modifier 1 with a value of 1. Then you can set your Cue button to activate a different modifier say modifier 2 with a value of 1, but only when modfier 1 is already set to a value of 1 (when your shift button is pressed) This approach would keep your original cue button mapping if you weren't pressing shift.
If you dont want your Cue button at all then you can skip the shift button bit, just set the cue button to activate a modifier of your choice (which would then activate whatever it is you want to activate with your new shift button) but you will need to click the box remove factory mapping otherwise traktor will keep re cueing you track.
Hope that helps
